刻まれた空気：伝播と残響

本展は、デジタル化社会における言語とコミュニケーションの本質を探求するコンセプトに基づいた試みです。「銘刻」という行為を、静的で永続的なものではなく、古代の甲骨文字と現代における記録衝動を重ね合わせながら、流動的で循環的なプロセスとして再構築します。

インスタレーションでは、金属で制作された彫刻が展示され、それぞれのフォルムは作家自身の身体的ジェスチャーを具現化したものです。ダイナミックなサウンドスケープと変化する光と影が融合し、没入型の時間的物語を創出します。意味に内在する不安定性を探求し、コミュニケーションがどのように伝播し、解体され、再定義されていくのかについて観客に批評的考察を促します。

This exhibition is a conceptual exploration into the essence of language and movement in our digitized society. The act of “engraving” is reimagined not as something static or permanent, but as a fluid and cyclical process, drawing parallels between ancient oracle bone inscriptions and contemporary impulses to record.

The installation features metal sculptures, each form embodying the artist’s own physical gestures. These works merge dynamic soundscapes with shifting light and shadow to create an immersive, temporal narrative. By probing the inherent instability of meaning, the exhibition invites viewers to critically reflect on how communication propagates, disassembles, and is continually redefined.

FF（葉楓 フェン）

ロンドンと日本を拠点に活動するインターディシプリナリー・アーティスト。彫刻、サウンド、インスタレーションを横断し、パフォーマティブかつ時間的なジェスチャーを通じて、言語とコミュニケーションの流動的境界を探求。素材性や空間の詩学に根ざし、「存在」と「不在」の間の緊張関係、記憶の痕跡が刻まれ変容していくプロセスを探る。

東京藝術大学大学院グローバルアートプラクティス専攻修士課程（2025年）修了、ロンドンのセントラル・セント・マーチンズにて美術学士（優等）取得。東京都美術館、テート・モダン（ロンドン）、パルク・ド・ソー（フランス）などで国際的に作品を発表。2025年に渋谷アワード、サロン・ド・プランタン賞（東京藝術大学）受賞。

FF (Ye Feng) is an interdisciplinary artist based between London and Japan. Her practice spans sculpture, sound, and installation, often unfolding through performative and time-based gestures to explore the fluid boundaries of language and communication. Rooted in materiality and the poetics of space, her work examines the tension between presence and absence, and the ways in which traces of memory are inscribed and transformed.

She holds an MFA in Global Art Practice from Tokyo University of the Arts (2025) and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, London. Her work has been presented internationally at venues including the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, Tate Modern in London, and Parc de Sceaux in France. In 2025, she received the Shibuya Award and the Salon de Printemps Prize from Tokyo University of the Arts.
